Sheetz Opens Third Greenville, N.C., Store

Location is 16th in Tar Heel State

ALTOONA, Pa. -- Sheetz, Inc. has opened a new location in Greenville, N.C., the third store in Greenville and the 16th Sheetz store in North Carolina. The doors officially opened to customers on February 20, followed the next day by a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

As part of the festivities, the Altoona, Pa.-based retailer made a donation to Special Olympics of Greenville/Pitt County. "The people of Greenville have been great customers and we are happy that we are able to expand our business to keep serving the Greenville community," said Louie Sheetz, executive vice president of marketing [image-nocss] for the company. "Sheetz has a long tradition of being involved in Special Olympics in all of our operating states. We are thrilled to make a commitment to support the athletes who participate in Special Olympics of Greenville/Pitt County."

Sheetz offers a menu of M•T•O subs, sandwiches and salads, freshly made-to-order. It features cold and toasted subs, a variety of salads, along with French fries, onion rings, chicken fingers, burgers and more. It also features Sheetz Bros. Coffeez, a full-service espresso and smoothie bar staffed by a trained barista. Customers can order hand-made specialty coffee drinks including lattes, cappuccinos and mochas—hot, frozen or iced. Frozen fruit smoothies round out the specialty drink menu. Sheetz also offers premium brewed self-serve coffees made from 100% Arabica beans in a variety of flavors such as Breakfast Blend, Serious Dark Roast, 100% Colombian and Vanilla Nut Cream.

Customers place their food and specialty coffee orders at touchscreen order kiosks. Customers will also enjoy the use of a surcharge-free ATM and a variety of retailer gift and phone cards are also available, the company said.
