Solo Cup Appoints LeBlanc VP of Foodservice Sales

Category vet joins single-use cup, plate manufacturer

HIGHLAND PARK, Ill. -- Solo Cup Co., a leading manufacturer of single-use products used to serve food and beverages, recently appointed Bob LeBlanc as vice president of foodservice sales.

LeBlanc, 48, has extensive foodservice experience and has held several management positions at Kraft Foods and General Foods. At Kraft Foods, he successfully progressed through a series of sales leadership roles. His last two positions at Kraft were vice president of sales, foodservice west, and vice president of sales planning, foodservice operations and strategy.

He served most recently as executive [image-nocss] vice president of Blacksmith Applications, a supplier of trade management software in the foodservice industry. Prior to Blacksmith, LeBlanc was the vice president and general manager of foodservice at Topco Associates, a cooperative within the retail, wholesale and foodservice channels.

The company also recently announced that it was moving its offices from Highland Park and Lincolnshire, Ill. to Lake Forest, Ill. It will close its Highland Park manufacturing facility in July 2009.
