Tedeschi Food Shops Remodels 13th Location

Retailer continues to ramp up renovation initiative
ROCKLAND, Mass. -- Continuing its endeavor to renovate all of its locations, Tedeschi Food Shops Inc. has remodeled a store in Westford, Mass., bringing the total of stores remodeled in 2010 to 13. The company operates a total of 189 convenience store locations throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island and Connecticut.

This store now offers a wide variety of fresh, healthy options such as TD's Deli Express salads, wraps and sandwiches. Additionally, the location features hot and iced Green Mountain coffee and Tedeschi Select products.

The store held a [image-nocss] customer appreciation event on August 27. Shoppers were treated to samples of TD's Deli Express sandwiches, Kayem beef franks, Frito Lay snacks and Edy's Dibs ice cream. Representatives from Garelick Farms, HyDrive, Myoplex, Snapple, Nantucket Nectars and Red Bull allowed customers to sample the extensive assortment of beverages that Tedeschi Food Stores carry.

Teams from WEEI Sports Radio Network, WAAF and Canobie Lake Park provided music and games for the crowd; a few customers won iPod Touches, passes to Canobie Lake Park and tickets to New England Patriots and New England Revolution games.

Rockland, Mass.-based Tedeschi Food Shops is a family-owned and -operated c-store chain with more than $600 million in annual revenue and more than 2000 employees. Tedeschi Food Shops also offer Tedeschi Fuel.
