TravelCenters of America Reopens Porter, Ind., Location

Completes major site renovations, including to food court

WESTLAKE, Ohio -- TravelCenters of America LLC has announced today the reopening of its Porter, Ind., location after a major renovation project. Porter is situated on I-94 and U.S. Route 20 (Exit 22B).

Highlights of the Porter renovation include remodeling of the Buckhorn Family Restaurant and the addition of a quick-serve food court. The restaurant seats 168 patrons. TA operates 129 full-service restaurants across the United States and Canada including 23 Buckhorn locations.

The new food court added quick-serve concepts to an existing Subway made-fresh deli; Popeyes Chicken & [image-nocss] Biscuits, serving New Orleans Cajun style chicken, and a Taco Bell/Pizza Hit Express combination. The new food court adds another 86 seats for on-premise dining patrons. TA operates nearly 230 quick-serve restaurants across the United States and Canada.

This restaurant renovation and food court addition continues to position TA as providing a comprehensive and diverse food offer on the interstate for professional truck drivers, motorists, RVers and tour bus groups.

In mid-July, the company reopened its Southington, Conn, location after a similar renovation.
