Independent South Texas retailer thrives with handmade breakfast tacos

SEGUIN, Texas -- Larry Gerosa runs two Jud's Food Stores just outside of San Antonio, and foodservice is what he does best. Both stores offer handmade breakfast tacos in countless varieties, stuffed with fresh ingredients such as eggs, chorizo and pico de gallo. The Seguin store, a travel center that houses two branded quick-serve restaurant (QSR) franchises, moves an average of 300 breakfast tacos a day.
