7-Eleven Takes 'Study Breaks'

Retailer to carry college humor magazine at selected locations in Texas

AUSTIN, Texas -- Study Breaks College Media has announced that Study Breaks--a college life magazine found in five cities in Texas--is expanding its distribution and will be available at new key locations in and around San Antonio. The magazine will now be available at some of the most high-traffic H.E.B. and 7-Eleven stores in the area.

Study Breaks magazine is an award-winning line of monthly entertainment magazines for college students with a mission can best be explained through its slogan: We are college life. Published by San Antonio-based Shweiki Media Printing Co., it is distributed in five Texas cities (Austin, Houston, San Antonio, San Marcos and Lubbock).

Study Breaks College Media provides a one-stop solution for small businesses, providing them with marketing strategies and delivering college students, it said.

Dallas-based 7-Eleven operates, franchises or licenses more than 10,100 7-Eleven stores in North America. Globally, 7-Eleven has more than 50,700 stores in 16 countries. During 2012, 7-Eleven stores generated total worldwide sales of approximately $84.8 billion.
