AARA Seeks to Help Retailers Weather Economy

Asian American Retailers Association show set for September 24 in Springfield, N.J.
SPRINGFIELD, N.J. -- The Asian American Retailers Association (AARA) is organizing an annual tradeshow at Royal Albert's Palace in Springfield, N.J., on September 24, 2010, to help its members and other retailers to network and make profitable relationships in this economy.

AARA president Gary Patel said, "This year, we are expecting about 80 vendors to exhibit the show with more than 1400 retailers to attend the show. The basic idea behind the tradeshow is to raise awareness among business people about market trends. It is a platform for retailers and vendors to build a [image-nocss] strong network while negotiating the deals."

Patel's team at AARA is working hard to make the show a useful event for retailers and vendors, he said.

Prashant Desai, executive vice president of AARA said, "Retail businesses are facing difficult times so the show will create an opportunity for store owners to discuss the problems with other retailers and vendors and also the store owners will have opportunity to find the new product and services to increase profit margins. Networking event after the show with question and answer session will assist store owners to implement new tactics."

During the show, free wine and liquor tasting would be offered while other distributors will come up with new and existing products and services.

Bipin Patel, chairman of the board of trustees of AARA said, "It is important to continuously learn about the industry, new products and services in the market to offer best to customers. I think the tradeshows always help retailers to understand market better by communicating with other retailers and vendors."

Both retailers and vendors will have sufficient time to network with fellow business owners.

An entertainment program will be held in the evening for all participants to unwind after a day's work.

AARA is looking to deliver stronger and more profitable future for our membership. AARA wants to provide benefits to the retailers to help keep retailers on the cutting edge in this past pace and constantly changing industry.

AARA is an association that develops policy, creates economic incentives, communicates vital information, exposes new products and services and offers tools and strategies for retailers' growth. This diverse combination of programs makes AARA a unique forum.
