Baskin-Robbins Launches Spring Promotions

Includes free ice-cream samples, new cakes and more

CANTON, Mass. -- Baskin-Robbins will offer free samples of its Mint Chip 'n Oreo Cookies Milkshake between 3 and 7 p.m. on St. Patrick’s Day. The drink merges Baskin-Robbins’ Mint Chocolate Chip and Oreo Cookies n’ Cream flavors.

The chain is encouraging customers to blend two of their favorite ice-cream flavors into one shake and share via social media with the hashtag #BRShakeItUp. It also has a few of its own mashup flavors guests can try, including ones mixing World Class Chocolate with Very Berry Strawberry, Jamoca Almond Fudge with Pralines 'n Cream and Cookie Dough with Oreo.

Customers uninterested in milkshakes can purchase the chain’s St. Patrick's Day Cake instead, which features a rainbow and pot of gold design, topped with green icing.

Besides its St. Patrick’s Day specials, Baskin-Robbins is also offering its March Flavor of the Month: Oreo 'n Caramel. The treat, which can be eaten in a cup, cone, as a milkshake or Cappuccino Blast, is made with caramel ice cream, Oreo bits and caramel swirl. The chain will also launch its new Bunny Stripe Cake in stores around Easter, which is customizable with any Baskin-Robbins ice-cream flavor and white or chocolate cake. And at the end of the month, Baskin-Robbins will launch its March "Celebrate 31" promotion, when all regular and kids-sized scoops will be $1.50.
