Convenience Store Alliance Expands Services in the Northwest

Bew partnership will result in discounts on tobacco, foodservice and grocery products

NORMAN, Okla. -- Convenience Store Alliance (CSA), a buying program that helps independent convenience-store operators nationwide compete with large chain stores, has entered into a new partnership with Doyles Sheehan, a distributor of foodservice, convenience and grocery products to customers in the Northwest.

This partnership will bring c-store owners discounts and promotions on grocery, tobacco, foodservice and other convenience products. Doyles Sheehan serves c-stores in Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming and North Dakota.

“We’re thrilled to offer this new discount program through CSA,” said Jeff Bonacci, director of sales for Doyles Sheehan. “Being family-owned and -operated ourselves, we have a desire to see independents not just ‘make it,’ but truly excel in this competitive retail environment. And we believe this partnership will help make that happen.”

Doyles Sheehan will offer CSA members free business analysis as well as customized plan-o-grams based on customer traffic patterns and demographic purchasing data. In addition to CSA discount pricing, the company will help customers access and increase rebates available from manufacturers.

“We are always looking for and evaluating potential vendor partners who can bring value to our members,” said Scott Cole, CSA's vice president of operations. “Doyles Sheehan has proven to do just that.”

Doyles Sheehan will be among the more than 20 CSA preferred vendors, all of which offer chain-store pricing and service to CSA’s 1,800 independent operators.
