Goodyear Teams with Boss Truck Shops for On-Highway Service

Goodyear tires, retreads now available at 39 Pilot facilities
AKRON, Ohio -- Goodyear Commercial Tire Systems said that it is expanding its on-highway service network through a relationship with Bosselman's Boss Truck Shops. And while Goodyear national account customers benefit from the new relationship with Boss Truck Shops, so do those involved in Goodyear's fleetHQ program. As part of the fleetHQ network of more than 1,500 locations, Boss Truck Shops will provide service for Goodyear enrolled national account customers and fleets.

"We're pleased to be working with the Bosselman family, which has a long history in the travel center [image-nocss] and truck repair business," said Joseph Copeland, vice president of Goodyear Commercial Tire Systems. "Their 10 facilities, located throughout America's heartland--Nebraska, Iowa, Kansas, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Kentucky and New Mexicowill give truckers and fleets added on-highway support with our line of tires. Each Boss Truck Shop location offers new tires, retreads, mechanical services and repairs, as well as emergency roadside service."

fleetHQ is a program that provides national account benefits to fleets of all sizes through the fleet's local servicing dealer.

"We're working together to broaden our footprint across the country in the truck repair business," said Chuck Bosselman, president of Bosselman Inc. "We plan to add more shops to our network on Pilot properties, which will greatly benefit existing and new customers. With Wingfoot's 29 facilities located within Pilot Travel Centers, and our 10 Boss Truck Shops locations--many of which are located adjacent to Pilot Travel Centers, we share the common interest of taking care of our customers."

Goodyear Commercial Tire Systems offers products and services to the trucking industry, including a full range of original equipment and replacement tires and retreads. In addition, the company offers fleetHQ business solutions to fleets of all sizes. This includes the 24/7 fleetHQ Solution Center, national programs, tire management tools, on-line information access and business problem-solving for tomorrow's trucking fleets.
