Kum & Go Signs Exclusive Deal With Pugs Sunglasses

Brand headed to more than 400 c-stores

WEST DES MOINES, Iowa -- Kum & Go and Pugs Inc. have agreed to bring Pugs branded sunglasses to more than 400 Kum & Go convenience stores in 11 states. Pugs began installing its new sunglass racks and product line in Kum & Go stores in February. It is now the exclusive provider of sunglasses to the chain.

"Pugs delivers exceptional value in their sunglasses, providing fun styles and outstanding quality at reasonable prices," said Kum & Go president and CEO Kyle J. Krause. "Offering their great products in our stores is another way we're making life more convenient for our customers."

"We are consistently asked how we deliver dollars to the bottom line for our retail partners," said Russ Drury, corporate marketing director for Pugs. "We focus a great deal on the quality of sunglasses we put into our retail partners' stores. The convenience retailing industry has worked passionately over the years to exceed its customers' expectations. We recognize that here at Pugs and never allow poor quality products in our lineup."

"We are incredibly excited and humble to have earned the trust of Kum & Go," said Keith Gudmundsen, vice president of key accounts sales at Pugs. "We look forward to providing extraordinary service for their customers and store managers, and we're proud to be part of their vision to be the best."
