SAN ANGELO, Texas -- Town & Country Food Stores Inc. and McLane Co. Inc. have entered into a distribution service agreement that will be effective through 2008.
Town & Country is a major convenience retailer covering a 107,000-sq.-mi. area of West Texas and eastern New Mexico. It operates more than 144 convenience stores, seven T&C Village Markets, 15 travel stops, 23 Subway locations and several Godfather Pizza locations.
The Town & Country locations provide a number of proprietary offerings including 89 Country [image-nocss] Cookin' outlets, Sub City sandwich operations, "the Cold Front" fountain area, "The Hot Spot" hot beverages centers and the frozen, carbonated beverage "TC Freeze."

Temple, Texas-based McLane provides distribution services throughout the United States, delivering food and nonfood products to more than 50,000 customer locations, including the c-store, drug store, mass merchandise, quick-service restaurant (QSR) and movie theater industries. It operates 19 grocery distribution divisions and 18 foodservice distribution centers as well as an industry specific software company. McLane is a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc., Omaha.
