Pilot Flying J is the largest operator of travel centers and travel plazas in North America. McLane’s ability to service all stores within the 42 states they operate was a factor in the company’s decision to extend the agreement, said Laura Palenkas, Pilot Flying J’s vice president of marketing and merchandising.

“In addition to consistent service levels, McLane provides customer service and technology offerings that are efficient and effective,” she said. “McLane distributes a wide variety of products for us, including large retail package sizes that accommodate our traveling guests. Plus, they’ve demonstrated an ability to adapt while supporting our proprietary foodservice offerings.”

Tim Campbell, director of sales at McLane Co., said, “We’re proud to continue our relationship with Pilot Flying J. Pilot Flying J’s commitment to superior customer service, teammate connection and long-term relationships provide an extraordinary chemistry between our organizations and serves as the foundation for future development and growth.”
