Shop24 Global to Open New 'C-Store' in New York

SUNY Cobleskill will be 10th automated installation in state

COBLESKILL, N.Y. -- The State University of New York (SUNY) College of Agriculture & Technology at Cobleskill became the eighth school (and 10th location) in the state of New York to place a Shop24 automated convenience store on campus.

With more than 2,500 students enrolled in the 52 associate and baccalaureate degree programs offered through The School of Agriculture & Natural Resources and The School of Business & Liberal Arts & Sciences, Shop24 will be a welcome addition to the students that live and study in the 10 residence halls on campus, the company said.

"Shop24 offers an extensive array of items for students on the run, and will certainly satisfy those late night cravings. It will also serve our campus community when classes are not in session, a time when our retail and resident dining operations are limited," said Cobleskill Auxiliary Services (CAS) executive director Brian Marhaver.

Shop24 is a self-contained, totally automated and refrigerated convenience store designed to enable 24/7 accessible consumer purchasing. Easy, safe, reliable and immediate, a Shop24 automated convenience store delivers more than 200 items ranging in weight from one ounce to 10 pounds in a well-lit, security camera monitored environment. A Shop24 can be placed anywhere outdoors or indoors, bringing ultra-convenience right to the consumer.
