WIMBERLEY, Texas -- The 2014 Category Management Conference is scheduled to run from September 30 to October 2 in Orlando, Fla. This year's theme is "Strategic Collaboration for Shopper Satisfaction."
"The 2014 Category Management Conference is offering more than 50 sessions and a number of networking opportunities enabling the exchange of information and best practices throughout the CatMan community," said Blaine Ross, president of the Category Management Association (CMA).
Hosted by the CMA, the event attracts category managers, shopper marketers, space managers, analysts, account managers and market researchers from leading manufacturers and retailers. Solution providers, universities and trade association representatives contribute best practices and forward-looking views.
The CMA welcomes non-members to participate, it said.
This year's presenters include 7-Eleven, Ace Hardware, Church & Dwight, ConAgra, Delhaize America, Dr. Pepper Snapple Group, Jarden Home Brands, Peapod, PepsiCo, Save-A-Lot, SpartanNash, Target, Tyson Foods, Walgreens, Walmart and many others.
