Summit Reaches New Peak

NACS and CSP renew State of the Industry partnership for another four years
ALEXANDRIA, Va., and OAK BROOK, Ill. -- NACS and CSP Information Group Inc. have renewed their long-term agreement for the annual NACS State of the Industry Summit that names CSP the event's exclusive media partner. Under terms of the agreement, NACS will produce the State of the Industry Summitthe $577-billion industry's premier data and analysis eventand CSP will serve as the exclusive media partner and will publish a special edition of CSP magazine that reports upon the NACS State of the Industry Summit along with other data and content presented at the Summit.

The [image-nocss] two-day conference will continue delivering the latest convenience- and petroleum-retailing-industry analysis into economic trends and market competition, while bringing together leading convenience and petroleum-retailing executives to delve into the NACS State of the Industry data, consumer trends, category metrics and analysis by the world's premier research companies.

"The NACS State of the Industry Summit is the premier data-driven event of our industry, and we are delighted to partner with CSP in disseminating its content," said NACS president and CEO Hank Armour.

CSP CEO and editorial director Paul Reuter praised the new four-year deal that comes at the conclusion of a seven-year agreement. "Our industry is unique in that even during harsh economic times retailers are willing, even enthusiastic, to share data and ideas to improve our industry and delight customers," he said. "There are few events that can rival the NACS State of the Industry Summit in terms of marrying data, insights and networking."

The 2009 State of the Industry Summit will be held at the InterContinental Chicago O'Hare Hotel from April 6 to 8. The conference is expected to attract up to 400 key industry retailer and supplier executives.

Special registration and advertising packages are available to NACS member supplier organizations. Registration fees are waived for NACS member retailers.
