TEMPLE, Texas -- McLane Co. Inc. said it has entered into a three-year service agreement with Taylor Petroleum, operator of 63 convenience stores in Texas and Kansas.
Greg Hendricks, vice president of operations and purchasing for Taylor Petroleum, said, This service agreement with McLane will provide us the quality products and support we need to grow our business and better serve our customers.
McLane is committed to exceeding Taylor's product quality and distribution service expectations. We are looking forward to a long and [image-nocss] rewarding relationship, said Thomas Hartman, vice president of sales for McLane's Southwest and High Plains Divisions.
Taylor Petroleum is headquartered in Amarillo, Texas, and operates 57 stores in Texas and six in Kansas under the Taylor Petroleum logo.
Temple, Texas-based McLane provides distribution services throughout the United States, delivering food and nonfood products to more than 50,000 customer locations, including the c-store, drug store, mass merchandise, quick-service restaurant (QSR) and movie theater industries. It operates 19 grocery distribution divisions and 18 foodservice distribution centers as well as an industry specific software company. McLane is a wholly owned subsidiary of Berkshire Hathaway Inc., Omaha, Neb.
