ROCKLAND, Mass. -- Tedeschi Food Shops is the first convenience store chain to carry Rockin' & Roastin', Aerosmith drummer Joey Kramer's organic coffee line, in select locations.
"Spending most of my life in New England, I used to frequent Tedeschi's on a regular basis," said Kramer. "Tedeschi's has been around for decades and remains a family-owned business, which is my plan for Rockin' & Roastin'."
In May, Kramer announced his partnership with Comfort Foods, North Andover, Mass., which now roasts, packages and distributes his trio of small-batch brews: two Dark roasts, from Sumatra and Ethiopia, and one Dark-Medium, from Guatemala. Previously, it wqs only available for online retail. Comfort Foods now is able to meet the demand for Kramer's expansion into the retail and hospitality markets. Currently the coffee is available in both whole-bean and ground forms and soon, Kramer will unveil a single-serving option.

Through June 2014, sipping one of Kramer's three brews also has a delicious charitable benefit. In June, Kramer announced a year-long campaign to donate a portion of his coffee sales to auto-dealership magnate Ernie Boch Jr.'s nonprofit organization, Music Drives Us, which supplies grants for music programs to effect positive changes for people in need throughout New England.
