Tedeschi Joins Lil’ Drug Store Board

C-store veteran brings channel acumen to HBC supplier

CEDAR RAPIDS, Iowa -- Peter Tedeschi, former president and CEO of the Tedeschi Food Shops convenience-store chain, has joined the board of directors of Lil’ Drug Store Products Inc. (LDSP).

“Peter Tedeschi’s industry experience is unmatched and he fits perfectly with our company culture,” said Chris DeWolf, CEO of Lil’ Drug Store Products. “Peter is skilled at thinking differently about the convenience channel, and that will help us develop new categories like healthy snacks. We are delighted to welcome him to our board.”

Tedeschi was the third-generation president of the 200-store Tedeschi Food Shops chain before 7-Eleven Inc. acquired it in 2015. Previously, he served as vice chairman and treasurer for the National Association of Convenience Stores (NACS), Alexandria, Va., and as the chief strategic officer for the Milwaukee-based Midwest Retail Group LLC 7-Eleven franchise group.

“I’m thrilled to join the Lil’ Drug board of directors,” said Tedeschi. “I have always been impressed with Lil’ Drug’s leadership as a health and beauty care product supplier. They are an innovative company always adapting to the changing market, and I look forward to helping Lil’ Drug create and capitalize on new opportunities.”
