Turkey Hill Signs Three-Year Deal With Core-Mark

Distributor inks agreement with Kroger's largest convenience store division

LANCASTER, Pa. -- Turkey Hill, the largest of The Kroger Co.'s convenience divisions, has signed a three-year distribution agreement with Core-Mark Holding Co. Inc., one of the largest marketers of fresh and broad-line supply solutions to the convenience retail industry in North America.

Turkey Hill, based in Lancaster, Pa., operates 268 convenience stores across Pennsylvania, Ohio and Indiana under the Turkey Hill Minit Markets name.

South San Francisco, Calif.-based Core-Mark is one of the largest marketers of fresh and broad-line supply solutions to the convenience retail industry in North America. Founded in 1888, Core-Mark offers a full range of products, marketing programs and technology solutions to approximately 30,000 customer locations in the United States and Canada through 28 distribution centers (excluding two distribution facilities the company operates as a third-party logistics provider). Core-Mark services traditional convenience retailers, grocers, drug, liquor and specialty stores, and other stores that carry convenience products.

Turkey Hill Minit Markets is a sister company of Turkey Hill Dairy, a dairy processor which is a major producer of milk, ice tea and ice cream. Both Turkey Hill c-stores and Turkey Hill Dairy are owned by Cincinnati-based Kroger.
