Bosselman, Goodyear Roll Out Truck Service

Uni-Maxx on-highway network begins operations with 71 shops at Pilot, Flying J, more
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. -- Bosselman Inc. and The Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. have created a new on-highway truck service network, called Uni-Maxx Truck Care. Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems LLC, a subsidiary of Goodyear, and Boss Truck Shops Inc., a subsidiary of Bosselman Inc., are the first two members, participating through their on-highway locations (Wingfoot Truck Care Centers and Boss Shops).

The Uni-Maxx Truck Care network begins operations with 71 on-highway commercial truck maintenance facilities positioned to provide outstanding service to the trucking industry. [image-nocss] Many of the network shops are located at Pilot Travel Centers and Flying J Travel Plazas.

Members of the Uni-Maxx Truck Care network will provide consistent products and services, a nationwide warranty and 24/7 roadside assistance.

"Participating in this network broadens the Boss Truck Shop footprint across the country in the truck repair business," said Chuck Bosselman, chairman of Bosselman Inc. The network will help us, and other network members, to take care of our customers and gain their trust."

Fort Smith, Ark.-based Wingfoot Commercial Tire Systems operates more than 170 commercial tire sales, service and retread facilities nationwide. It has 37 on-highway Truck Care Centers operating in 15 states.

The Bosselman Family of Cos., headquartered in Grand Island, Neb., owns and operates 42 Pump & Pantry convenience stores; a Hampton Inn, three Pump & Pantry Motels and five Motel 6 franchises; eight Bosselman Travel Centers; six Grandma Max's and Max's Highway Diner Restaurants, Sam Bass' Saloon & Steakhouse, and Schmooter's; Food Courts including Subway, Little Caesars, Wendy's and Caribou Coffee; 34 Boss Shops; and the Nebraska Danger Indoor Professional Football Team.
