ROCKFORD, Ill. -- Southern Imperial Inc. announced the hiring of two new employees to fill director positions at its Rockford, Ill., facility.
Dale Carroll has joined Southern Imperial as director of operations. Carroll comes to Southern Imperial with more than 25 years in manufacturing, with extensive experience in purchasing, distribution, supply chain, operations and lean manufacturing. Dale was previously with IDEAL Industries and brings a desire and drive to enhance Southern Imperial’s track record of producing quality products and services to the world’s largest retailers.
Brent Ewing joins the Southern Imperial team as director of engineering. He comes with a diverse product-development background in permanent store fixtures and point-of-purchase displays. Ewing has more than 15 years of experience in design, engineering and manufacturing of retail fixtures with Amstore
Corp. and Harbor Industries. As director of engineering, he will be responsible for all engineering functions at the Rockford facility, as well as managing the engineering team in China.
