The company has introduced the Xponent Rewards Card in Dallas; Miami; Tampa, Fla.; Orlando, Fla.; and Atlanta, with plans to expand across the Chevron- and Texaco-branded retail footprint in the United States.

Unlike other reloadable, prepaid cards, Xponent Rewards cardholders do not pay annual, monthly or signup fees. There are also no credit checks required. Everyone with a U.S.-based bank account can potentially enjoy the card benefits. Cardholders will load money directly from their bank account to their Xponent Rewards Card.

The Xponent Rewards Card offers an everyday reward of five cents per gallon on every fuel purchase when used at participating Chevron and Texaco gas stations. In addition, cardholders have the opportunity to increase fuel savings by using their card for purchases at participating merchant locations. For example, every $50 a cardholder spends at participating Outback Steakhouse restaurants with the Xponent Rewards Card will earn an additional reward of 10 cents per gallon, up to 20 gallons in a single purchase. Chevron also is offering a new account bonus of 40 cents per gallon on a cardholder’s first fuel purchase at participating Chevron and Texaco gas stations using their Xponent Rewards Card, up to 20 gallons.

“Chevron is always looking for innovative ways to provide value to its consumers and reward them for brand preference,” said George Wall, vice president of Americas Products East & Latin America. “This new loyalty offering rewards customers who are not interested in our traditional credit cards. They can earn additional rewards to use at participating Chevron and Texaco stations. Chevron anticipates expanding the program by adding other participating merchants to increase the reward opportunities for its loyal consumers.”

Consumers can sign up through XponetCard.com. They can track rewards and manage their account online, with the Xponent Rewards app or by calling customer service. The Xponent Rewards Card can be used everywhere Discover is accepted and is managed and processed by Marqeta, the payment innovation platform.
