Circle K Stores in Florida Offering Gulf Power Bill Payment Kiosks

Self-service units provided by TIO Networks

ATLANTA -- Select Circle K convenience stores in the Pensacola and Fort Walton Beach areas in northwestern Florida will now allow Gulf Power Co. customers in to pay their bills in real time using self-service kiosks provided by TIO Networks Corp., a leading North American bill payment processor.

"Paying bills on time can be challenging for many Americans today," said Hamed Shahbazi, CEO and chairman of TIO Networks. "Our goal is to remove the barriers that make bill payment difficult and help our partners provide value added services to their customers."

TIO's self-service kiosk locations accept cash and are accessible 24 hours, seven days a week and in multiple languages. Customers have the option to have bills processed in real time to avoid expensive interest or late fees. To pay their monthly utilities, users can visit a TIO kiosk at participating Circle K locations with cash and a copy of their bill.

"We're excited to offer our customers this service, which will help alleviate wait times and ultimately make the bill payment process more convenient," said Jeff Rogers, corporate communications manager for Gulf Power, Atlanta. "We hope to expand to additional locations throughout our service market as customers become more accustomed to the automated kiosks."

TIO currently has more than 1,200 kiosk locations processing in excess of 250,000 bill payment transactions per month.

The network consists of 13 business units, including nine in the United States covering 40 states and the District of Columbia (primarily under the Circle K flag) and four in Canada covering all 10 provinces (primarily under the Couche-Tard and Mac's flags).
