"AAA has a significant presence in the Southeastern part of the Unites States, and by joining forces we increase our overall market share in the South and nationwide," said Rusty Carfagno, chairman and CEO of Crompco. "AAA fits appropriately into the strategy of growing our business through key acquisitions geographically and growing our business organically."
Crompco currently operates in 19 states. It is currently undertaking an expansion in the Midwest.
Tom Souls, president of Crompco, said, "We'll soon get down to the work of integrating the two companies together and to sharing best practices and leveraging the synergies between our two companies so that we can further expand the level of services and quality that we provide to our customers."
John Bracknell, vice president of operations at AAA Tank Testers, will play a key role in integrating AAA processes and ideas into the joint company. "Our customers will benefit from the venture and from the expanded services we can now offer them as Crompco."
