Cumby's Donates $1,000 to Boys & Girls Club

Marks grand opening of new Gulf Express

FRAMINGHAM, Mass. -- Cumberland Farms presented the Boys & Girls Club of MetroWest with a $1,000 donation last Thursday to celebrate the grand opening of its newest convenience store and gas station, Gulf Express, in Framingham, Mass.

The Boys & Girls Club of MetroWest serves more than 600 young people per day in Framingham, Marlborough and Hudson. The organization recently opened a new Framingham clubhouse, with hopes to expand. Students are elementary school age through high school and participate in afterschool programs from technology programs to gym activities.[image-nocss]

Through its Corporate Giving Program for Youth, Cumberland Farms is working to improve the prospects for young people, to encourage and support young people's achievements in business and leadership and to provide educational opportunities for young people. Cumberland Farms is a proud sponsor of 4-H, the Muscular Dystrophy Association and Making Strides for Breast Cancer and provides college scholarships. In addition to annual corporate contributions, Cumberland Farms is active at the local level, building awareness and supporting worthy organizations in the communities where we live and work.
