HIGH RIDGE, Mo. -- D&S Car Wash Equipment Co., a leading manufacturer of in-bay automatics, conveyor and nonconveyorized tunnel systems, industrial vacuums and self-service car wash equipment, has announced the appointment of Brian Merz to sales director for the West Region.

Merz is a car wash industry veteran of more than 25 years and a distributor of D&S products. In his new role, Merz will provide leadership and direction to D&S distributors west of the Mississippi river. His primary focus will be to work closely with each distributor in order to maximize [image-nocss] sales opportunities and increase gross revenues. In parallel, Merz will continue grow the D&S brand across the major market segments.

"Brian has consistently been a top performer at D&S for many years. He possesses a comprehensive knowledge of our product line and is the consummate professional throughout the sales-to-service cycle. Moreover, he has great rapport with his customers. We are excited that someone with Brian's expertise and experience has taken a leadership role in the organization," said Jon Jansky, president and CEO.

In addition to his responsibilities in the western United States, Merz will also maintain his distributorship, Mid-West Equipment Sales, based in Garden City, Kansas.

Drew Dressler, formerly sales director of the West Region, has assumed the position of sales director of the East Region, effective immediately. In addition to managing the D&S distributor network east of the Mississippi, he will continue to oversee international sales for the company.

Dressler brings 20 years of experience to this newly expanded role. Prior to serving as Western Region sales director for four years, he held several key positions in the organization, including director, marketing and director of customer service.
