The company has been working with Subway operators since 2005, providing thousands of locations with reliable video-based surveillance and loss prevention.

"I have been a DTT customer since 2008. ... This is extremely important for a multi-unit franchisee like myself because I can't be everywhere at once and with DTT I know I don't have to be," said Mike Martin, a Subway operator based in Michigan.

Sam Naficy, president and CEO at DTT, said, "I'm confident in the solution we are providing and know that we will continue to improve upon our offering as we move forward."

Based in Los Angeles, DTT provides digital video surveillance solutions to the hospitality and specialty retail industries. Naficy founded DTT in 1999, leveraging the power of emerging digital technology to support the needs of a broad base of clientele. Since first launched, DTT has equipped, serviced and supported more than 35,000 clients. Every day, software provided by DTT protects trillions of dollars in assets and oversees nearly two million employees, the company said. Some restaurant brands that use DTT include McDonald's, Subway, Dairy Queen, Burger King, Dunkin Brands, Taco Bell, KFC, Auntie Anne's and Potbelly Sandwich Works.

The Subway restaurant chain, based in Milford, Conn., is the world's largest restaurant franchise, with nearly 37,000 locations in 100 countries.
