BUFFALO, N.Y. -- Wilson Farms, Sugarcreek and Wilson Farms Xpress convenience stores are encouraging customers to support Environmental Awareness Month and Earth Day, April 22, by picking up a Wilson Farms reusable tote bag.
The Wilson Farms reusable tote bags are available year round for 99 cents each, and are a cost-effective alternative to paper and plastic bags, the company said.

According to the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), an estimated 500 billion to 1 trillion plastic bags are consumed worldwide each year. That equals more than one million per minute. Wilson Farms said it welcomes its customers to do their part to help the environment and use these tote bags not only on Earth Day but every day.
