Follett Sends Hurricane Relief Donations

More than $35,000 in cash, equipment provided

EASTON, Pa. -- Follett Corp. and its employees donated more than $35,000 in cash contributions and equipment to aid victims of Hurricane Katrina and Hurricane Rita.

A check was sent to the American Red Cross for more than $9,000 from donations from employees and an accompanying corporate matching gift. Follett Corp. also provided five upright ice-storage bins to help with food preparation and food storage in the shelters.

Thirty-two office-cubicle partitions were also part of Follett's donations to the relief effort with [image-nocss] these partitions heading for the library at the East Baton Rouge Parish School System.

Founded in 1948, Easton, Pa.-based Follett Corp. is a manufacturer of ice-related equipment, including icemakers, ice-storage and transport equipment, ice and beverage and ice and water dispensing equipment for the foodservice and healthcare markets worldwide.
