Fuel Rewards Network Giving Members Its Three Cents

Holiday promotion offering at least three-cents-per-gallon savings

DALLAS -- Excentus, loyalty marketing program provider and creator of the patented cents-per-gallon rewards concept, has launched a limited-time promotion that allows consumers nationwide to save at least three cents per gallon on fuel purchases at participating Shell stations this holiday season.

Through Excentus' free Fuel Rewards Network (FRN) program, consumers will save a minimum of three cents off per gallon on fuel at participating Shell stations between Nov. 6 and Dec. 31.

Excentus and Shell have been rolling out the Fuel Rewards Network program to more than 10,000 Shell sites this year, and the program will be available in nearly 200 markets by yearend.

The FRN program allows consumers to take an active role in driving down the price they pay for fuel through their normal spending activities. Members earn rewards when making purchases with FRN participating merchants--which include select grocers, online merchants, restaurants and other service providers throughout the United States.

Consumers can redeem those rewards at the pump on all grades of Shell Nitrogen Enriched Gasolines including Shell V-Power Premium Gasoline and Shell Diesel at participating Shell stations for savings on the cost per gallon of gasoline up to 20 gallons per purchase, per vehicle.

"The FRN program is built to save people money," said Dickson Perry, founder, chairman and CEO of Excentus. "This time of year, a little extra savings can go a long way. Our 3¢ per gallon 'Thank You' promotion is meant to spread some extra holiday cheer by putting more money back in people's pockets."

To start saving, FRN members need to insert their FRN Card at the pump (or see cashier if paying inside) before beginning their fuel transaction. If members have less than three cents per gallon in accumulated Fuel Rewards savings, Excentus will instantly apply a three-cents-per-gallon reward to their fuel purchase.
