2010 marks 10th Spinx Charity Classic Golf Tournament
GREENVILLE, S.C. -- The Spinx Co. is hosting the 10th Spinx Charity Classic Golf Tournament on Monday, April 26, at the Chanticleer, Riverside and Cherokee Valley golf courses. The tournament will kick off with a private Pairings Party featuring food, cocktails and a silent auction on April 25 in downtown Greenville. S.C.

The Spinx Charity Classic is designed to raise awareness and funds for local charities and distributes 100% of the proceeds through the Spinks Family Charity Foundation. This year's charity recipients are The American Red Cross Upstate Chapter, Hands on [image-nocss] Greenville, Junior Achievement, Loaves and Fishes, the Ronald McDonald House and Pendleton Place Children's Shelter.

"We are excited about this year's tournament. It will be our tenth year of hosting a fun golf outing that brings community members together while benefiting local charities. It's our way of saying thank you to local organizations that help others," said Spinx CEO Stewart Spinks.

The goal for this year's tournament is to raise more than $140,000. The tournament is open to the public and individual or four-person team positions can be purchased. Online registrations are available at www.myspinx.com under the Community and Golf Tournament page. Food and beverages are provided for tournament participants. Registration is open through March 31.
