Greenbrier Quickstop Adds U-Haul

Tennessee c-store partners on rental products, services

GREENBRIER, Tenn. -- Alex and Angie Seriana, owner of Greenbrier Quickstop, have recently added U-Haul truck and trailer rentals to the convenience store business they have been operating since March 2011.

Greenbrier Quickstop can now offer its customers a variety of moving equipment and supplies designed specifically for moving household furnishings, including moving vans, open trailers, closed trailers, furniture pads, appliance dollies, furniture dollies, tow dollies and auto transports.

"In today's economy, do-it-yourself moves are the way to go," Alex Seriana said. "Moving can be expensive. Knowing that you can cut the cost by completing the work yourself provides an effective alternative. Providing this additional service to our customers allows us the opportunity to welcome the new customers to our town. In addition, it is a sigh of relief for our existing customers in need of equipment for in-town rentals."

Greg Ruffing, president of U-Haul Co. of Nashville, said, "U-Haul is proud to be partnering with a quality independent business such as Greenbrier Quickstop. Alex and Angie are a great example of the type of successful business relationship U-Haul has established in order to build and maintain a strong network of more than 15,000 independent dealers across North America."

U-Haul was founded by a Navy veteran who grew up during the Great Depression. Tires and gas were still rationed or in short supply during the late 1940s when U-Haul began serving U.S. customers.
