GSTV Fuels West Coast Expansion With 19 New Locations

Adds 10 stations in Los Angeles, nine in San Diego

LOS ANGELES -- Gas Station TV (GSTV), a leading national away-from-home television network delivering a one-to-one viewer experience, has added 19 new service locations in Los Angeles and San Diego. The West Coast is the latest stop for GSTV's content experience, watched by 27 million drivers each month at gas stations across the country.

Ten new stations in Los Angeles have been equipped with GSTV's digital screens along with nine additional stations in the San Diego area. The 19 new locations will increase GSTV's impressions by 4.5 million annually.

One person who [image-nocss] has taken advantage of GSTV is United Oil secretary/treasurer, Jeff Appel, who has installed the network at his various Chevron, ConocoPhilips and United Oil stations in Southern California. "I've been with GSTV for more than four years and expanding the network to more locations is a no-brainer," said Appel. "GSTV has enabled us to connect with our customers on a deeper level and enhance their overall experience."

David Leider, CEO of Gas Station TV, "Thanks to retailer demand, we continue to grow grow at a rapid pace. GSTV offers a high-quality and engaging viewer experience that helps gas stations improve their profitability and customer loyalty."

GSTV connects with "captive" consumers at the pump during a natural pause point in their day when they cannot channel surf or skip past the message with a DVR.

GSTV can be viewed throughout the country at gasoline retailers including United Oil, Chevron, ConocoPhillips, Gulf, Arco, BP, ExxonMobil, Speedway, Shell, Murphy USA and Sunoco.

Programming includes exclusive sports from ESPN, local weather from AccuWeather, news and entertainment segments, and GSTV's original content program, "Your Neighborhood."

As the first independently audited and measured network in the gasoline space, GSTV delivers Nielsen Media Research-verified viewership, demographics, dwell time, network size and recall, it said.

Advertisers who have broadcasted on GSTV include Allstate, American Express, AOL Autos, Bank of America, Best Buy, Chase Bank, Chevrolet, Coppertone, CVS, Ford, Kraft, OnStar, PepsiCo, Procter & Gamble, Sonic, Sprint, Toyota, TUMS, Verizon, Wal-Mart, White Castle and more.

Since its inception five years ago, Birmingham, Mich.-based GSTV has grown from a five-station pilot in Dallas to 27 million monthly viewers at the pump in more than 100 U.S. designated marketing areas (DMAs) at the nation's leading gas retailers.
