CarterEnergy saddles up with Better Horses Network
OVERLAND PARK, Kansas -- CarterEnergy Corp. has become a sponsor of the Better Horses Network, a new equine information system in the Missouri-Kansas City area. The network was designed to serve as a resource for education, products and events for horse enthusiasts. CarterEnergy is a long-time supporter of The American Royal annual rodeo and livestock show held in Kansas City, Mo., and the company's CEO/president Bryan Beaver is currently serving as chairman of the Royal.

CarterEnergy also sponsors the Kansas High School Rodeo Association.

"Not only does this partnership [image-nocss] allow us to support a cause for which we have a passion, it enhances awareness amongst fellow equine fans as to how CarterEnergy can help them," said Deborah Baska, vice president of marketing operations. "For instance, we've had parents of the Kansas High School Rodeo competitors come up and thank us for supporting their kids and wanting to know how they can support us in turn. Our partnership with the Better Horses Network lets us get the word out that we can deliver fuel to farms, ranches and any other businesses that need fuel to operate."

A new CarterEnergy radio spot is currently being featured on the Better Horses Radio Show, airing on 106.9 FM in Topeka, Kansas, and on KFEQ 680 AM in St. Joseph, Mo.

The sponsorship will also include ads in the Better Horses Network's printed and electronic newsletters, which reach more than 25,000 horse owners in Kansas, Missouri and parts of Nebraska and Oklahoma.

Overland Park, Kansas-based CarterEnergy is a regional independent petroleum distributor for convenience stores and commercial fleets. It operates in Kansas, Missouri, Colorado, Illinois, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Texas and Iowa.
