Kum & Go president and CEO, Kyle J. Krause, and chairman and co-founder, W.A. Krause, presented Stutzman with his $50,000 on Tuesday, September 1, at the store in Grimes, Iowa, where Stutzman is a frequent customer.

"I can hardly believe it," said Stutzman. "Until I had the check in my hand, I honestly did not believe that this could really happen. What a great surprise. Thank you Kum & Go."

A unique code was printed on each store receipt which directed customers to go online to register to win one of several prizes offered. Over the course of the summer, West Des Moines, Iowa-based Kum & Go gave away $59,000 in Kum & Go gift cards, 92 Rock Band video games and two tickets to the MTV Music Video Awards in addition to the $50,000 prize.

"We congratulate Russell; Kum & Go truly appreciates his business," said Kevin Krause, Kum & Go senior vice president of marketing. "We had over 300,000 people enter to win this summer, so Russell is quite lucky. We thank all Kum & Go customers for their continued support and we look forward to launching our next major promotion."
