Loomis Acquires EM Armored Car Service

Terms of deal not disclosed

HOUSTON -- Loomis has announced the acquisition of EM Armored Car Service Inc., a Savannah, Ga.-based cash handling services provider. Terms of the transaction, which will be effective as of August 31, were not announced.

Loomis is an international provider of cash handling services with annual revenue of approximately $1.7 billion. The company's operating network consists of 190 locations in the United States and Puerto Rico in addition to 240 locations in Western Europe. EM Armored Car Service is a privately held entity operating in southern Georgia.

The combination will enable meaningful synergies in the south Georgia market where we have sizable operations and allow us to introduce integrated technology enabled solutions there."
