Mark VII Completes Third Deal in Canada

Acquires assets of carwash distributor Chem Tec West Enterprises
ARVADA, Colo. -- Mark VII Equipment Inc., the U.S. subsidiary of WashTec AG of Germany, a leading producer of vehicle washing equipment worldwide, has announced that it has acquired the assets of carwash distributor Chem Tec West Enterprises Ltd. in the provinces of Alberta, Manitoba and Saskatchewan. Concurrently, Mark VII has signed Chem Tec West as a distributor in British Columbia.

Mark VII recently announced that it has acquired the assets of its distributor TD Industries and opened direct operations in Calgary, Alberta. And it recently forged a cooperation agreement [image-nocss] with Shell Canada for the provision of equipment and services. "This is a strategic addition to the direct operations we launched in Canada over the past few months," said Murray Kennedy, CEO of Mark VII. "It augments our service team and expands our customer base in these three provinces, giving us the critical mass to ensure a high level of service and support to all customers."

Arvada, Colo.-based Mark VII is a wholly owned subsidiary of WashTec AG of Germany, a leading producer of vehicle washing equipment worldwide. The combined companies have a global installed base of more than 30,000 units and sell a complete line of touchfree and friction rollover, self-serve, truck and tunnel carwash systems, as well as ancillary products and services. WashTec AG and Mark VII are not related to or affiliated with Integrated Services Inc., a U.S. company that markets a car wash controller product under the trademark WashTEC.
