TUCSON, Ariz. -- Mister Car Wash entered Mississippi with its acquisition this month of seven Venture car washes.
Venture opened its first car wash in Ridgeland, Miss., in 2003, adding stores in Brandon, Clinton, Meridian, Flowood and two in Jackson by 2013.
This acquisition represents Mister Car Wash’s 20th state and 29th market of operation.

The Tucson, Ariz.-based company now operates 172 car washes and 32 lube centers.
Mister Car Wash is owned by Leonard Green & Partners, a Los Angeles-based private-equity firm with more than $15 billion of capital.
