Murphy USA Running 'Due Date' Promotion

Teaming up with Warner Bros. to offer discounted gas, free tickets, snacks, drinks, more
EL DORADO, Ark. -- Murphy USA, in conjunction with its "Fueling Fun" promotional campaign (click here for details), is partnering with Warner Bros. and its new film, Due Date.

The film, which stars Robert Downey Jr. and Zack Galifianakis, tells the story of Peter Highman (Downey), a soon-to-be-father forced to hitchhike cross-country with Ethan Trembley (Galifianakis), an aspiring actor, in order to make it to his child's birth on-time.

"As a company, we have typically shied away from big flashy promotions, [image-nocss] and have just focused on our best advertising tool: our price signs," said Murphy USA on its webpage announcing the promotion. "But for our first big movie promotion, we've really pulled out all the stops."

Prizes include movie tickets to see Due Date, concession cash for your movie, money off gas, free snacks and candy, free drinks and free waffles at Waffle House.

Ways to win include text to win instantly, or check in on the Whrrl social media network (click here), Facebook, MurphyUSA.com, or via select Murphy USA sponsored bloggers on Facebook and Twitter.
