$25,000 in grants, prizes awarded to groups, customers who nominated them
PORTSMOUTH, N.H. -- Irving Oil, a leading energy refiner and provider in the Northeast, recently awarded 12 grants to nonprofit organizations throughout New England as part of its New England Neighbor Initiative. A total of $25,000 in grants and prizes were awarded to organizations across the region and the Irving customers who nominated them.

"We want all of our neighbors to know that we're not just a place to fill up your tank, we're a part of this community, and we want to make things better here, too," said Harry Hadiaris, general manager for Irving Oil Marketing.

Irving [image-nocss] Oil said that it is bringing its community-focused business style and strategy to the forefront by asking the community to tell it what matters most.
