Donates 50,000 of its latest toy trucks to Marine Corps program

NEW YORK -- Amerada Hess Corp. has announced that it is donating 50,000 of its 2005 Hess Toy Trucks to the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program.

John Hess, chairman and CEO of Amerada Hess, said, Our company and our employees deeply appreciate the work that the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve has undertaken for 57 years in providing toys for needy children through its Toys for Tots program. This year, with the devastating impacts of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita, we understand the needs of the program are greater than ever. We are honored to join [image-nocss] with Toys for Tots this year in providing our 2005 Hess Emergency Truck with Rescue Vehicle toy to disadvantaged children in the hurricane damaged Gulf Coast area.
