Kangaroo Express to sponsor 2010 Summer Shootout Series
CONCORD, N.C. -- Kangaroo Express, operated by The Pantry Inc., one of the most widely recognized convenience store chains in the southeastern United States, will be the title sponsor of the 2010 Summer Shootout Series at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

"We are excited Kangaroo Express has come on board to sponsor the Kangaroo Express Summer Shootout Series," said Seamus Curley, director of events at Charlotte Motor Speedway. "We strive to provide affordable family fun at The Mecca of Motorsports and the Tuesday night tradition of racing offers fans great entertainment without [image-nocss] putting a strain on their wallets. Kangaroo Express's support is just another step in establishing the Series as one of the best in short-track racing."

The Kangaroo Express Summer Shootout kicks off June 8 and runs each Tuesday night through August 10 on Charlotte Motor Speedway's frontstretch quarter-mile oval. Each night of the 10-race series will feature a full slate of Legend Car and Bandolero racing.
