MONTROSE, Pa. -- Pump N Pantry Inc., a convenience store chain based in northern Pennsylvania, is leveraging the latest in marketing technology through a partnership with OpenStore by GasBuddy.

With OpenStore, Pump N Pantry has the ability to reach customers through a branded mobile app, individual store web pages, mobile coupons and social media including Facebook and Twitter.

OpenStore is a digital marketing solution to help convenience store owners and managers concentrate on reaching and rewarding their customers without having to build and maintain IT systems.

"We've been looking for new ways to communicate with our customers about our great food, exciting promotions, and valuable coupons," said Scott Quigg, president of Montrose, Pa.-based Pump N Pantry. "Newsprint and broadcast radio are no longer relevant to some of our most important shoppers. We needed to find a way to reach that group. The Pump N Pantry app, along with our new social media presence, will allow us to reach and reward those customers."

Jason Toews, co-founder and CEO of OpenStore by GasBuddy, said, "OpenStore provides everything retailers need to bring modern-tech savvy customers to their stores."

With 17 convenience stores, Pump N Pantry offers fresh food, friendly staff, clean stores and wireless hotspots.

Gaithersburg, Md.-based OpenStore by GasBuddy provides two-way communication between convenience store owners and customers using web technologies and custom branded mobile applications. The OpenStore dashboard makes it easy to collect customer feedback, manage social media, deliver mobile coupons and marketing campaigns from one location.
