Pump & Pantry Inks Cardtronics ATM Deal

Firm will operate units in 24 of Bosselman's c-stores
GRAND ISLAND, Neb. -- Bosselman Inc., a leading owner and operator of convenience stores and travel centers throughout the Midwest, and Cardtronics Inc. have reached an agreement for Cardtronics to provide ATM services at 24 of Bosselman's 42 Pump & Pantry c-stores in Nebraska.

Under terms of the deal, Bosselman will own and maintain the 24 ATMs, which are being purchased from Cardtronics, while Cardtronics will provide ATM Managed Services, including transaction processing, through its company-owned processing network.

"Providing cash to our Pump & Pantry [image-nocss] customers is a valuable service they have come to rely on, so when we took a look at our ATM program we knew we needed to work with a superior ATM operator," said Charlie Bosselman, president of Bosselman. "Cardtronics proved it has the systems, capabilities and experience to operate our ATM program at the highest level."

Rick Updyke, president global development at Cardtronics, said, "Pump & Pantry stores are integral components of the communities they serve, and these heavily trafficked locations are perfect venues for ATMs that will provide Bosselman's many customers with convenient access to cash whenever they need it."

Also, Cardtronics offers surcharge-free access to cash for holders of traditional debit cards as well as stored-value cards issued by financial institutions that participate in the Allpoint Network, Cardtronics' wholly owned surcharge-free ATM network. More recently, Cardtronics started offering a managed services solution to retailers and financial institutions that are looking to outsource some or all of the operational aspects associated with operating and maintaining their ATM fleets.
