OREM, Utah -- Q Comm International Inc., a provider of prepaid transaction processing and electronic point-of-sale (POS) distribution solutions, has announced the acquisition of the electronic POS business from Sun Communications, a prepaid distributor located in San Rafael, Calif. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
The acquisition increases Q Comm's merchant base by more than 300 locations in California.
Additionally, Pieter Hamman, president of Sun Communications, will join the Q Comm International management team as vice [image-nocss] president of western U.S. sales, effective immediately.
