Fourteen colleagues head to Tucson to Ride for the Cure in November
WHITEHOUSE STATION, N.J. -- Quick Chek has announced that its newly formed riding team, a group of 14 employee volunteers training for the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation's (JDRF) upcoming Ride for the Cure event, is nearing its goal to raise $65,000 for the nonprofit organization.

This November, the Quick Chek Riding Team will travel to Tucson, Ariz., to participate in the 109-mile bike ride in an effort to help find a cure for the childhood disease.

The formation of the Quick Chek Riding Team follows Quick Chek senior vice president Mike Murphy's raising of [image-nocss] a record-setting $15,000 in donations by a single individual for the JDRF as he successfully completed pedaling 100 miles in the organization's Ride for the Cure event held in Whitefish, Mont., last year.
