WEX has signed a multi-year agreement with RaceTrac to offer a private label and co-branded universal fleet card program. The new program will include a proprietary fleet card accepted at all RaceTrac and RaceWay locations, as well as a co-branded universal card, which will be accepted at more than 90% of fuel and service locations throughout the United States.

"We are very excited to partner with RaceTrac because of its strong brand presence in the southern United States and because it continues to provide value to its guests," said Ken Janosick, senior vice president of fleet payment solutions at South Portland, Maine-based WEX. "We are thrilled to have been chosen from multiple competitors in order to create RaceTrac's new fleet card program. The opportunity to offer both private label and universal card programs adds another level of convenience for commercial customers."

WEX will work closely with RaceTrac over the next few months to create comprehensive sales and marketing programs.

"The new RaceTrac Fleet Card program is one of the ways we aim to accomplish our mission of making people's lives simpler and more enjoyable," said Karla Ahlert, vice president of finance and treasurer at RaceTrac. "The RaceTrac Fleet Card will provide our business partners and their teams the convenience of filling up at more than 600 RaceTrac and RaceWay stores while monitoring their company's vehicle related expenses. WEX is an industry leader in terms of guest service and product innovation, and we are happy to partner with them as we continue to serve as the 'convenience store of choice' for our commercial business owners and guests."
