Rogers Joins Clark Brands

Huseby honored by Holiday Stationstores; Love's promotes execs

NAPERVILLE, Ill. -- Steve Rogers has joined Clark Brands as a senior account manager. In this new role, Rogers will be responsible for managing account relationships with licensees and credit card customers in Clark's newly formed western region. Bill Troyer will continue to manage Clark's eastern region.

Rogers is a 17-year industry veteran with experience in both wholesale and retail marketing at the jobber and major oil company level. Most recently, he worked for CarterEnergy of Overland Park, Kansas, as a regional vice president. Prior to CarterEnergy, Rogers worked for ConocoPhillips [image-nocss] and Phillips Petroleum for 11 years in a variety of wholesale and retail positions.

"We are confident that Steve will help us enhance our service to our existing customers and help us grow our business in strategic expansion markets such as Oklahoma and Texas," said Karl Goodhouse, Naperville, Ill.-based Clark's president.

Clark Brands owns the Clark family of brands. The company licenses the Clark gasoline brand and the Four Corners Coffee brand to independent petroleum marketers and retailers in 25 states.

Separately, Holiday Stationstores has announced that Tim Huseby, store manager of the Detroit Lakes, Minn., Holiday Stationstore, will be inducted into the organization's 2007 Pinnacle Club. This is the fifth year Huseby will be inducted into the Pinnacle Club, according to The Detroit Lakes Tribune.

The Pinnacle Club is reserved for those elite store managers and district managers of Holiday Stationstores who have consistently achieved exceptional results in the areas of sales growth, expense control, age restricted sales compliance and overall business efficiency. Senior management will honor each of the members by presenting them with a Plaque of Achievement, a Pinnacle Club Logo jacket and a company gift to commemorate the event.

Holiday Stationstores is a convenience store/gas station industry leader in the markets in which it conducts business with more than 430 corporate and franchise locations in 12 states throughout the upper tier of the United States including Alaska.

Meanwhile, Love 's Travel Stops & Country Stores has named Jon Archard director of fleet sales, J.P. Fjeld-Hansen director of trading, among other appointments.

Archard has been at Love 's for seven years and has served in various positions with the company, including regional and senior manager, then national sales manager. Fjeld-Hansen joined Love 's in 2007 after holding various trading and managerial positions at Phibro, Williams and Saracen.

Oklahoma City-based Love's has more than 200 locations in more than 30 states.
