Rutter's Names June Register, Scan & Win Winners

Hands out more than 900 prizes to loyal customers

YORK, Pa. -- Joshua Welty of Red Lion, Pa., won a free month of gasoline, one of the more than 900 prizes given away this month in Rutter's Farm Stores' Register, Scan & Win loyalty sweepstakes.

Other prizes include hundreds of car washes, F'Real milkshakes and cups of coffee. In addition, the retailer added $1 to several hundred winners' Rutter's Rewards card balance. The grand prize was a 47-inch flat-screen TV.

"Customers who register their rewards card provide us with valuable information about buying habits and demographics, but it also allows us to show our appreciation to our loyal customers," said Jeffrey Leedy, chief customer officer at Rutter's Farm Stores.

Rutter's Rewards cards may be obtained at any Rutter's Farm Store and managed online through the chain's mobile app for smart phones.

Since the program's start in October 2009, the Rutter's Rewards program has helped loyal Rutter's customers across Central Pennsylvania earn cents-off-per gallon rewards on more than 13 million gallons of fuel.

York, Pa.-based Rutter's Farm Stores is a family-owned and managed enterprise that operates approximately 60 convenience stores throughout southcentral Pennsylvania.
